This week has already started out to be a busy one as far as game news is concerned so let"s get to it:
Minecraft finally "goes gold" - While the hit indie sandbox PC game has been sold since 2009, Minecraft"s creator "Notch" tweeted today that the game has "gone gold". In this case it means the 1.0 version of the game is complete. It will be released via an automatic update for all Minecraft users on Friday.
Dead Island Bloodbath Arena DLC gets release date - The zombie action game from Techland will release the DLC pack on November 22, adding four new arenas in "Horde-style challenges" in both single and multiplayer modes.
Playstation Move bundles announced - Sony has announced two new holiday bundles for its Playstation Move controller. One has the controller, the Playstation Eye camera and two games, Sports Champions and Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest, for $99.99. The other has the controller, the camera, the PS3 console, and a copy of Everybody Dance for $299.99.
EA"s Origin to be online platform for Wii U? - A new rumor claims that Electronic Arts is trying to convince Nintendo to let its new Origin online service become the exclusive online download platform for Nintendo"s upcoming Wii U game console.
Battlefield 3"s Tactical Light to be dimmed - Have you been blinded by Battlefield 3"s Tactical Light? You are not alone and the game"s developers have now indicated it will dim the light"s brightness in an upcoming patch for the game.
