Zynga rebrands Adventure World - Launched just a couple of months ago on Facebook, Zynga"s Adventure World has now been rebranded as Indiana Jones Adventure World, with the fictional movie archeologist now available as an NPC for players to interact with in the game.

Angry Birds creators decline over $2 billion buyout deal from Zynga - Speaking of Zynga, The New York Times claims via unnamed sources that the company offered Rovio, the developer behind the Angry Birds franchise, a buyout deal worth over $2.3 billion but that Rovio declined the deal.

Nintendo claims record Black Friday sales in US - Nintendo claims that over 500,000 Wii consoles were sold just on Black Friday 2011 in the US. It also claims that sold 535,000 copies of the Wii game The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword since its launch on November 20 and over 500,000 copies of the 3DS game Super Mario 3D Land since its launched on November 11.

Total War Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai announced - Sega revealed that it will release Total War Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai, a stand alone expansion to 2011"s historical RTS PC game, in March 2012.

LA Noire creator"s next game title revealed - Brendan McNamara’s next game now has a title, Whore of the Orient. The term is sometimes used to refer to the city of Shanghai. The game from the lead behind LA Noire will be developed by Kennedy Miller Mitchell Interactive, formed by movie director George Miller of the Mad Max and Happy Feet movies.
