Although Alcatel isn"t a dominant player in the smartphone business, it still offers plenty of affordable and classy looking options. When it comes to future releases, companies will often have an internal roadmap for the year, mapping out when devices will be released.
Unfortunately for Alcatel, the firm"s alleged lineup for 2018 was leaked online just a few months ago and it looks like there is perhaps reliable confirmation on one of the models, the Alcatel 5. The newly released information comes by way of Evan Blass, who has a superb track record when it comes to information about unreleased and unannounced devices.
As for specifications, there isn"t much to go on, but as you can see from the design, Alcatel is looking to embrace the trend of offering a near bezel-less design, with a majority of the bezel residing in the top portion of the smartphone. It is tough to say when the Alcatel 5 will arrive, but with CES and Mobile World Congress just around the corner, there is an excellent possibility that we will see it in the coming months.
