Gigabyte Technology has decided to merge its motherboard and graphics card sales subsidiary, Gigabyte United, into the parent company with the official execution date set for October 1 this year.
Gigabyte Technology pointed out that after the merger its motherboard and graphics card business will remain independent in its operations, but operating cost will be reduced due to simplified production and sales processes. Since Gigabyte United is a wholly-owned subsidiary, the parent company will not need to claim any losses or profit.
