Gigabyte's LHR (Lite Hash Rate) RTX 3060 series refresh is here, five brand new models

Gigabyte today has launched its new GeForce RTX 3060 LHR series (spotted by @momomo_us) comprising five new models, among which three of them are triple fan models and two are dual-fan designs.

News broke last month that Nvidia was readying a refresh of its RTX 30 series lineup. This new revision will reportedly feature a new crypto mining limiter and is called the Lite Hash Rate (LHR) series. It is alleged that all other previously released 30-series SKUs barring the RTX 3090 will have new LHR versions. The upcoming RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti will also reportedly feature this mining hash limiter.

You may recall that Nvidia had already crippled the mining performance of the RTX 3060 at launch via driver which was later mistakenly removed by the company. Like previously mentioned, the LHR series is reportedly said to feature a new kind of crypto mining limiter but we do not have any details on it yet. Spec-wise, though, these new models are identical to their non-LHR counterparts.

Now, coming to the Gigabyte 3060 LHR variants themselves, the triple fan models are:

AORUS GeForce RTX 3060 ELITE 12G (rev. 2.0):

GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING OC 12G (rev. 2.0):

GeForce RTX™ 3060 VISION OC 12G (rev. 2.0):

Moving on to the dual fan models, there are a couple of Eagle branded variants. The standard version has been specced at reference clocks while the OC model has a 30MHz speed bump. In terms of looks, the OC and non-OC models are identical.

GeForce RTX™ 3060 EAGLE (OC) 12G (rev. 2.0):

As of now, there is no information on the price or the availability of these products but in the current state of the market, it may be a moot point either way.
