Do you like to read? We like to read and we recently read through Mel Carson’s Pioneers of Digital book and have a copy to give away to our awesome readers. For those of you who don’t recognize Mel’s name, he worked at Microsoft for some time before starting his own company, Delightful Communications.
The book profiles 20 different digital innovators and reveals how they became successful in their careers and the motivational force that lead them down their respective paths. I’ve nearly completed the read and it’s certainly worth digesting if you the desire to break into this space and want to refine your skills in the digital market space.
When reading the book, the authors make several notable points that can help you drive or define your business strategies but one item that struck home is that to be successful, you don’t have to be original. Fundamentally, execution and approach are often bigger indicators of success than the initial idea: Apple often exhibits this trait.
Because Mel is awesome, he gave Neowin a copy of his new book to giveaway to our readers.
