While the Steam Summer Sale may be some ways off, the GOG PC games store has begun its own summer sale. The sale features over 1500 deals to choose from, featuring discounts up to 90% off, and each game arriving completely free of any DRM.
As an added incentive, everyone"s first purchase during the sale will include a free copy of Rebel Galaxy. This offer is also applied to any purchases in Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, which just recently shed its beta tag.
As it may be difficult to choose a deal among the hundreds available, GOG has some highlights on the main store page with a good mixture of heavy hitters and indie titles for today, including Witcher 3 GOTY ($24.99), Pillars of Eternity ($17.99), Stardew Valley ($9.99), Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines ($4.99), SWAT 4 ($5.99), Dragon"s Dogma: Dark Arisen ($11.99), Divinity: Original Sin ($19.99), and Little Nightmares ($14.99).
Meanwhile, the GOG Connect service has received 40 more titles to its roster, where users with the games" Steam versions can claim DRM-free copies on GOG free of charge by just connecting a Steam account with those games.
There"s even a charming choose your own adventure game to celebrate the sale, where users can help shape the story by voting on Twitter polls. The Adventure on Mystery Island"s first chapter is available to read on the official website, with the second chapter dropping on Thursday.
The GOG Adventurous Summer Sale will end its run in two weeks on June 20, 5:59 am PDT, giving everyone plenty of time to stock up on the hundreds of available deals.
