Gogo Wi-Fi charging Mac users more than Windows users?

Neowin recently reviewed Gogo inflight Wi-Fi. As I was switching from Windows 7 to OS X I came across this pricing discrepancy. If a Mac user were to pay for Gogo it would cost them $12.95. When I purchased the service under Windows 7 it only cost $9.95. Are Mac users being forced to pay a higher price for the same service?

The screenshot below clearly shows the only available options. I looked around the site trying to determine if the other options were hidden but there was no $9.95 offering to be found. While Apple consumers generally do pay a higher price for their products, is it possible Gogo knows this and is trying to to make a larger profit of Mac users?

The reasoning behind the price difference is unknown but I will attempt to contact Gogo and get a clear answer as the reasoning behind the price difference. If you are taking a flight in the near future be sure to check out the prices on different operating systems (if possible) as you may be able to save yourself a couple bucks!
