Today is the official start of the holiday shopping season in the United States. While Black Friday will dominate retailers over the weekend, making things quite hectic, it looks like Best Buy has decided throw fuel onto the fire by announcing that the SNES Classic Edition will be restocked on November 25.
Naturally, there will be limited quantities, with the console being made available starting at 9am when stores open. Thankfully, there will be a ticketing process for the unit, like there has been in the past, which should keep things civilized. But, it will be quite a process heading out to the retailer during the busy shopping weekend to try and acquire one.
Although stock numbers have not been revealed through the retailer"s press release, the company has stated that it will be limited to one per customer and that the product will not be available through its website. Those looking to secure one might want to head to the retailer early as there will most likely already be a line of people waiting, trying to get their hands on the Saturday promotional deals.
