The shutdown will come into effect on April 3, 2017, for all of the following apps on Android:

  • Google Docs for Android (prior to version 1.6.292)
  • Google Sheets for Android (prior to version 1.6.292)
  • Google Slides for Android (prior to version 1.6.292)

...and on iOS:

  • Google Sheets for iOS (prior to version 1.2016.12208)

This month, Google will begin to inform users of these older, soon-to-be-deprecated app versions that they must upgrade to the latest available versions soon to be able to continue using them.
