If you happen to be in Las Vegas this week to attend CES 2012, Google wants to make it easy for you to navigate through the massive exhibit halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In a post on Google Maps"s official blog site, the company announced that CES 2012 attendees will be able to use Google Maps on their Android device to find all the exhibitors at the convention center during CES.
Even after CES 2012 is over, Google Maps users will be able to use the app for other Las Vegas locations. Google has revealed it has partnered with MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment and other owners of Las Vegas hotels to offer users indoor maps for Google Maps for a large number of the big Vegas hotels, including Caesars Palace, Bellagio, The Venetian, The Palazzo and the MGM Grand. So when you get lost in the gambling area you can quickly find your way to your hotel room via Google Maps.
People who fly into and from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport will also be able to navitage through the airport"s terminals with the new Google Maps update. Finally, if you get tired of all of the gambling, shows, food and other entertainment in Vegas, Google Maps can offer indoor maps of a number of Best Buy stores in Las Vegas.
