Back in October, Google announced the Nexus 6, a much anticipated phablet built by Motorola that is running Android 5.0 Lollipop. The beast features a huge 5.96" AMOLED touch screen with a great pixel density of 493ppi, protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and a design worthy of a flagship among the heavyweights.
With preorders sold out in just minutes, Google has promised to restock on Wednesdays, and if you buy it before December 31st, you can get 6 months of free Google Music. The phone is currently available again from Motorola"s website, in all storage sizes and colors. The 32GB model will set you back by $649.99 and the 64GB at $699.99.
In case you need a reminder, the specs of the handset are fairly impressive. At the heart of the device there"s a very capable Snapdragon 805 chipset helped by 3GB of RAM. It has a 13 megapixel back shooter capable of 4k video at 30 fps and sound comes punching from the front facing speakers. The storage is not expandable and comes in two sizes of 32GB and 64GB. An interesting feature might be the 3,220 mAh battery with Turbo charging. All of this and more packed in a curved aluminum body that is splash-resistant.
Before you get too excited though, keep in mind that the devices will likely not ship before January 6th, although you do get free shipping everywhere in the US, and if you can"t wait, it"s probably better than hoping for Google to catch up to demand.
