Google is seemingly preparing to launch the Pixel 4a later this month. The device has already leaked extensively and all its features and specs have also been detailed. Now, the camera samples of the Pixel 4a have also been leaked. This time around, they have been compared to Xiaomi"s mid-range Redmi Note 7 which features a 48MP camera sensor but uses pixel binning to output 12MP photos.
The comparison photos were posted on Twitter by a YouTuber. The photos clearly show that despite the Redmi Note 7 coming with a higher megapixel sensor, the quality of its photos is nowhere close to the Pixel 4a. The latter photos have better colors, contrast, and sharpness. However, it is important to note that the Redmi Note 7 was launched in early 2019 so it is old by today"s standards. Nonetheless, the Pixel lineup is known for its excellent camera performance and so the performance of the Pixel 4a"s 12MP rear camera is definitely going to be one of its strongest suits.
The Pixel 4a will feature a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED display with a punch-hole to accommodate the selfie camera. It will be powered by Snapdragon 730 chipset, an Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device will pack a single 12.2MP camera at the rear, while there will be an 8MP shooter at the front.
