A brand new iOS update for Google Play Music has been released and this one is big. The update finally adds support for the Apple iPad which means you get the full experience rather than having to use either the iPhone version or struggle with the web page layout.
This update also adds Material Design cues to the application on both the iPhone and iPad with new artist and album pages and descriptions and a new “Now Playing experience”
On a quick play through of the application it compares very well with the Android experience that users are used to, it has all of the features such as storage of tracks on your iPad, searching out music and more.
The only downside is that if you would like to subscribe to Google’s “All Access” plan which lets you stream or download a whole host of albums for a monthly fee, you have to do this either via the web or on an Android device.
Google Play Music has become a popular way of playing music acrossdevices, thanks to its ease of use, and the subscription service that has so far been very good with the range of artists and quick new releases that the company have pushed out.
