Google refreshes Hotels search on desktop, making it easier to use

Google has announced that it plans to improve the holidaying experience for 2019. The firm said that the hotel search experience on desktop has been spruced up with a new look and feel, making it easier for you to find what you’re looking for and book your hotel in time for next year’s holiday.

With the new redesign, users can more easily find a place to stay during trips, some highlights include the ability to view photos of the hotel posted by the business or other travellers, you can get more hotel information such as the neighbourhood that it’s located in, and you can get reviews by searching keywords such as “air conditioning”, helping you to more easily find out if a hotel is right for you.

Other options let you search for a location, define the amount of time you want to book for, you can choose a budget, select the number of guests, search by rating and facilities, and sort by best match, lowest price, and the highest rating.

The new redesign comes nearly nine months after Google introduced a new hotel search experience on mobile which introduced similar features.
