Frustrating touchscreen issues patched in latest firmware update.
The 2013 Nexus 7 which will start shipping next thursday in the U.K., has received its first post-launch update to fix touchscreen issues that some people, who already have the device, have been experiencing.
Google"s Paul Wilcox announced the update on the product forums saying:
As a couple of you have mentioned, there’s a new system update that’s started rolling out for your Nexus 7s. This update does address the touchscreen issues discussed in this thread. If you’re one of the people experiencing touchscreen issues, please let us know how it’s going after you’ve received and installed the update.
The new Nexus 7 was announced just a month ago on the 24th, so it"s good to see Google taking care of these issues so quickly; the update starts rolling out today and there"s no word on any additional features added to the firmware update.
