In the coming weeks, Google will officially launch its latest OS update, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company will also unveil two flagship-class Nexus handsets, its "showcase" devices for the new OS.
We already know a great deal about these new phones, including many of their specs, thanks to a series of leaks in recent weeks - and now another report claims to have revealed a further key detail about them. According to Droid Life, the 5.2-inch device - being manufactured by LG - will be called the "Nexus 5X", while the larger
Citing the same unnamed "reliable source", the report also claims to have verified the authenticity of some recent leaks about the two Nexus handsets. This leaked image of the "5X", and these photos showing the unusual rear design of the "6P", are all said to be accurate.
For now, we"ll have to wait and see if this latest information regarding the handsets" names is correct - but with one recent report claiming that the launch event will be held on September 29, there may not be too long to wait.
