It has only been a few months, but it appears that Google"s next and unannounced handset is already reaching the internet. When a new successor comes to market there is always hopes that it will improve on a number of features of its predecessor. The follow-up to the Pixel appears to be heavily focused on the camera experience - one of the highlights of the current Pixel and Pixel XL. According to the folks at 9to5Google, it appears that the next Pixel will not get a bump up in megapixels, but Google is working to improve the image and video quality.
As with any new flagship device, variants of the handset will offer a newer CPU, with a number of test models packing a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon and even Intel processors. One of the details that has yet to be confirmed is the inclusion of waterproofing. Initially, it was rumored that a waterproof successor was a sure thing, but it appears that Google is still deciding on whether this feature will arrive on the consumer version.
Lastly, there could be a slight price bump with the arrival of the latest Pixel handsets, but Google could also debut a cheaper variant of the handset, with lower specs, that is destined for other markets.
