Google's upcoming Pixel successors could arrive on October 5 with Snapdragon 836 processor

As if the release of Samsung"s latest Galaxy Note8 wasn"t enough smartphone news for today, it appears that there is information about the release of the upcoming handsets by Google.

According to Evan Blass, who has become a cornerstone over the years when it comes to reliable information about unreleased and unannounced devices, the next Pixel devices will be unveiled on October 5. There have been rumors in the past about the Pixel arriving with a new processor, but Blass has now confirmed that the Pixels will arrive with an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor.

This is quite interesting considering that most handsets that are hitting the market currently are utilizing the Snapdragon 835 that was announced at the top of the year. While specifications for the processor are unknown at this time, it will most likely offer a minor specifications boost, similar to what was found when going from the Snapdragon 820 to Snapdragon 821.

If the information above is true, that means that we will have a very busy couple months ahead with the release of the V30, iPhone, and now Google Pixels.
