For reasons unknown, it appears to be quite common for the Feedback Hub to suddenly stop working within Windows 10, a quick Google search returns 43,500,000(!) results for the issue
Microsoft"s official response is that one of two problems cause it, they are: User profile corruption, or that Windows files got corrupted. Luckily there is a way to fix it so that you can once again sign in and use the app, simply follow our guide below to fix the issue.
You will need Administrator permission to complete the steps:
- Right click on the Start button and choose Command Prompt (Admin)
- Select Yes from the User Account Control prompt
- Type powershell and then hit Enter on your keyboard
- At the prompt input the following: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} and then hit Enter on your keyboard
- After the process has completed, type exit and then hit Enter on your keyboard
- Close the Command Prompt window
- Open Feedback Hub from the Start menu
You should now get automatically signed in so that you can use the app. The Feedback Hub, previously known as Windows Feedback, became available to all Windows 10 users back in May, previously it was only available to Windows Insiders.
