Guild Wars 2 pre-orders begin; $149.99 Collector's Edition

Fans of the original Guild Wars have been waiting patiently for years to put down their hard earned money for the long awaited sequel, Guild Wars 2. Now developer ArenaNet and publisher NCsoft have launched the pre-order campaign for the PC exclusive fantasy MMO which includes three versions of the game.

All three versions will allow people who pre-order them to gain access to all of the planned weekend beta tests for Guild Wars 2, along with a three day head start when the game is officially launched later in 2012. There will also be an exclusive in-game item, the Hero"s Band. The $59.99 digital edition comes with just the game but the $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition also comes with five more exclusive in-game items.
