When the Halo Infinite campaign was shown off last year, a lot of gamers were disappointed by the lackluster visuals. The build was an early version, but that didn"t stop Craig the Brute — one of the alien species you encounter in the Halo franchise — from going viral and becoming a legendary meme. Craig featured a banal expression and lacked a lot of detail. It was clear 343 Industries needed to polish the visuals.
Since then the team has revamped how Brutes look, but that doesn"t mean developer 343 Industries has forgotten about Craig. YouTube channel Mint Blitz discovered a poster and album Easter egg that features Craig as a musical genius. You can take a look at it below.
This Craig Easter egg is found in the campaign on top of a high structure. You probably won"t see it in the free-to-play multiplayer. The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is available to everyone right now, with the campaign hitting PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on December 8, 2021.
You can purchase the campaign for $59.99 on the Microsoft Store, or play it through Xbox Game Pass if you"re a subscriber. The title supports Xbox Play Anywhere so you can experience Halo Infinite on PC and Xbox, with your progress carrying over.
