Halo Infinite's first multiplayer flight starts on July 29, invites rolling out

Only a few days ago, 343 Industries said it is looking into hosting the first Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview (flight) in the final weekend of July, and now, it has been confirmed. The bot-focused multiplayer flight will begin on July 29 and run through August 1. Halo Insiders who have been selected to participate should now have invites waiting in their emails (perhaps in spam).

As previously announced, this flight"s focus is on testing gameplay with bots across three maps, the new Academy training facility, a multitude of weapon drills, UI elements, battle pass, and other features that"s included in Halo Infinite.

Before the doors open tomorrow, 343 Industries will be hosting a livestream at 2PM PT later today, July 28, to showcase the technical preview"s contents and information on how selected Insiders can download and enter the flight. The broadcast will happen on both Twitch and YouTube official Halo channels.

Players across PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S are being invited for this flight, but since there"s a limited number of slots, not everyone who signed up to be an Insider will be getting access. However, 343 does plan to give everyone who signed up a chance to try out the game before pre-release tests conclude.

Update: Corrected title.
