"We are just days away from being content complete," revealed Halo: Reach"s creative director Marcus Lehto. "This is the time when we start closing down and begin the polish phase."
Lehto"s announcement comes less than two weeks before the highly anticipated game"s multiplayer beta is released to Xbox LIVE on May 3. The multiplayer beta will only be available to owners of Halo 3: ODST with an Xbox LIVE Gold Account.
On Monday, Bungie predicted the multiplayer beta could have up to 3 million testers. Halo: Reach will also be Bungie"s last game for the Halo series which it began in 2001. New games for the Halo franchise will be made by Microsoft subsidiary, 343 Industries. Halo: Reach is expected sometime in Fall this year.
