Halo: Reach multiplayer testing on Xbox One is now live for Insiders

Just earlier this week 343 Industries announced it will soon be holding the first Halo: Reach testing session on Xbox One, with invites quickly following for Halo Insiders who were lucky enough to get selected. And now, the multiplayer Insider flight has kicked off, with the studio confirming that all players who gained access should now have received an email with instructions on how to join.

It"s unclear how many players were invited this time around, but the developer is looking to stress test the matchmaking system in this flight, meaning there may be some server hiccups at some points. Be sure to report bugs through the official Halo Support page.

As a reminder, it is recommended to unsubscribe from any old "Halo: MCC Insider" builds and remove their files entirely from the console before trying to join the new flight. Among various other issues, 343 says having these old files can prevent Insiders from even playing the new build.

Halo fans on PC, unfortunately, have to wait out this session as it is only for Xbox One players. 343 has said two more Insider sessions are planned for PC players following this test, including a head to head multiplayer-focused one for the first time.

Those who are interested in joining the Halo Insider program and taking games from The Master Chief Collection out for test drives can find the sign up page here, with separate options available for PC and console testing.
