Ever since Halo: The Master Chief collection launched, it has been plagued by matchmaking problems that made it virtually impossible for folks to play online – one of the game’s biggest selling points. But today, 343 Industries will finally release the patch that should solve these problems.
After originally announcing it some time ago and then delaying it, 343 announced last night that the long awaited matchmaking patch will be released later on today in the “mid-late afternoon Pacific Time”.
The patch will improve almost all online aspects that were preventing gamers from enjoying matches including searching for players, connections, team creation, compatibility, stability and general performance, and many other aspects of the game.
The patch also addresses some UI problems in certain maps and brings general improvements to the rest of the game; you can check out the full list of changes by hitting up the source link.
No doubt lots of Halo fans will be happy with the update, especially if it actually fixes all the problems everyone’s been having.
