Hands on with Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17063

Yesterday, Microsoft released Windows 10 build 17063 to Insiders in the Fast ring. Being the first new build of the OS in nearly a month, it contains quite a few new features.

One of those new features is called Sets, which is the ability to group apps into tabs, similar to how a web browser works. Unfortunately, this feature is limited and not everyone got it on day one.

Timeline also arrived in build 17063, allowing users to go back in time and see previous things that they were working on, and quickly return to them. It works across devices too, so you can easily pick up where you left on a Word document that you were working on on another PC.

Fluent Design elements have appeared all over the OS, including the Edge browser and a redesign to the Settings app. Settings now has Acrylic in the navigation panes, and the main page has been redesigned, with some Fluent Design adjustments.

Of course, there are also improvements to the Windows Shell, My People, Cortana, and much, much more. Check out our hands on video for more.
