Amazon announced that it will be bringing two additional services to its Prime Video users: HBO and Cinemax. The company already offers a number of Channels through its service, such as Showtime, Starz, Comic-Con HQ, Daily Burn, and much more.
Cinemax, on the other hand, will be a bit cheaper, coming in at $9.99-per-month. With the Channel, you"ll get the latest episodes of series such as The Knick, Quarry, Outcast, Banshee, and Strike Back.
Amazon clearly has an interest in becoming a sort of all-in-one stop for cord-cutting, offering the option to choose your own Channels, a service that cable companies are notorious for not providing.
The new Channels are available now, and you can add them onto your Prime subscription from Amazon"s website. If you"re not sure about it, keep in mind that you"ll start out with a 30-day free trial.
