Here's what popular apps will look like on the Apple Watch

Customers have started to receive notice that their Apple Watch is on its way and, as such, more and more details about the upcoming product are becoming available on the Web. We know that it will take over a minute to boot - longer than an iPhone - and that returning the Edition model will be really hard.

Thanks to a new tool from iOS developer Steven Troughton-Smith, we can now see that popular iOS apps look like on the Apple Watch"s smaller display. MacRumors has compiled a selection of screenshots from various apps, including Clear, Flipboard, Shazam and Yahoo Weather.

Flipboard

Shazam

These apps are just four from thousands, and as the Watch platform matures and clear use cases emerge, more and more apps will be developed. The Apple Watch is officially released on April 24th, but before that go and check out our hands-on with the $10,000 Apple Watch Edition.
