Here's where you can pre-order Microsoft's Surface Duo

After over 10 months of teasing it, Microsoft finally took the wraps off of its Surface Duo smartphone. In doing so, it confirmed the starting price of $1,399 for the 128GB model, although you can get the 256GB flavor for $1,499. Pre-orders are live now, and it ships on September 10.

You"ve got three options in places to pre-order from: the Microsoft Store, Best Buy, and AT&T. Obviously, the former two will sell you an unlocked device, while AT&T will sell you a version that"s loaded up with carrier bloatware.

Microsoft Store

As usual, Microsoft is offering two variants, the Surface Duo and Surface Duo for Business. It"s unclear what the difference is, since they"re both priced the same for the same two configurations. Microsoft does offer the unlocked model or the AT&T model on the consumer SKU.

The Microsoft Store is also offering up to $700 off with an eligible trade-in. You can find the full list of trade-in values here.

Best Buy

At this time, Best Buy is only selling the unlocked model. Unfortunately, there doesn"t seem to be any trade-in offers at this time, but there are 0% financing offers for Best Buy credit card holders.

AT&T

AT&T will begin offering pre-orders for the Surface Duo at midnight tonight, and it will be available here. Additional software on the AT&T model includes HBO Max, AT&T TV, My AT&T, Call Protect, Amazon Shopping, and NBA.

The benefit to buying it through AT&T, however, is that you can get it on a payment plan. You can get the 128GB variant for $47 a month, or you can get the 256GB model for $50 a month. The carrier also noted that you"ll be able to check out the device in stores beginning on August 28.
