The Hideo Kojima directed action game Death Stranding is not going to be PlayStation 4 exclusive forever, as the developer today announced via Twitter that a PC release is also planned. Although rumors of this have circulated in the past, the confirmation pretty much arrived out of nowhere.
Following the November 8, 2019 launch of the PlayStation 4 version, Death Stranding will be releasing on PC sometime early in the summer of next year. No more information about this 2020 launching PC version was given out today, other than 505 Games revealing that it will be publishing this edition.
Considering the gap between the versions, however, some PC exclusive enhancements should be expected, especially in the graphics department.
The open-world title is well-known for its quite bizarre trailers and the constant mystery surrounding it, and the gameplay looks like it is following those same themes. The title features some high profile stars in its cast as well, including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Léa Seydoux, among others.
