Today, Honor introduced a couple of new devices, as well as a handful of new features for some of its existing accessories. There are also some promotions celebrating what Honor is calling VIP Day, which is running right in a few EU countries including the UK, Germany, France, and Spain.
The headlining announcement is the Honor 9A, a lower-mid-range smartphone powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 13MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The display is 6.3 inches diagonally with a resolution of 1600x720, and features a traditionally centered notch with the 8MP selfie camera. A standout feature of the phone is the 5,000mAh battery inside, which should last pretty long on a relatively low-power device.
The Honor 9A will be available from Honor"s website and other retailers in July for €149.90, with pre-orders starting on July 1.
The other major announcement is the Honor Choice program, in which the company will release new affordable smart products. This starts with the Honor Choice True Wireless earbuds, featuring a "7mm composite diaphragm speaker" which promises decent sound. Combined with the charging case, the earbuds should last 24 hours without having to plug in a charging cable. Unfortunately, the company didn"t announce price or availability for the new earbuds.
Honor also announced some new features for a couple of existing devices. For starters, the Honor Magic Earbuds will now let users fully adjust the level of noise cancellation they want, and there"s a new awareness mode that lets the user hear their surroundings without removing the earbuds. The feature needs to be enabled in the Honor AI Life app and it can be turned on by pressing and holding on the earbuds.

Another major update is for the MagicWatch 2. Following an update available in the Huawei Health App for Android (not available on iOS), the watch will be able to track 85 additional kinds of exercise, a massive increase over the 15 pre-installed workout modes available.
Finally, if you were interested in the Honor MagicBook 14 after our review, the company is now running a limited promotion where it includes a 12-month subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal for €649.90. The laptop usually goes for €599.90, and the subscription would otherwise cost €69, so there"s a small discount there. The deal is available in Germany, France, and the UK from today and until June 30.
