After its earlier announcement that the company would be bringing the Honor 8X outside China, Honor has now made its latest midranger available for purchase in various European countries.
Packing a Kirin 710, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of onboard storage with the option for further expansion via microSD cards, Honor is looking to make quite a dent in the sub-$300 bracket. The phone also features a dual-tone gradient finish underneath its glass back and looks quite premium for its price.
Staying true to that theme of bringing premium, flagship-grade features to a more affordable price bracket, the phone also features a large 6.5-inch screen with a 91% screen-to-body ratio. With a resolution of 2340 x 1080, that translates to a pixel density of nearly 400ppi.
It"s powered by a 3,750mAh battery, and the camera setup on the back comprises a 20MP main shooter paired with a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera comes in at 16MP.
The phone is slowly being made available throughout the world but among the first countries to have it available for purchase are Italy, Spain, and France. The starting price in the latter two countries is just a little under €250, while Italians will have to cough up €20 more. Availability in the UK is expected to follow soon, though pricing details for the country have not been revealed yet.
