Honor, currently owned by Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology, has announced the X20 SE smartphone. The latest mid-ranger from the former subsidiary of Huawei comes with a few high-end features such as 5G connectivity, high screen-to-body ratio, and fast charging support.
The Honor X20 SE is powered by Mediatek"s Dimensity 700 chipset. The octa-core processor comprises two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 ticking at 2GHz. The phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants paired with 128GB internal storage. It misses out on a storage expansion slot.
According to Honor, the handset has a screen-to-body ratio of 94 percent. It sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD with a punch-hole that accommodates a 16MP selfie camera. Moving around the back, the Honor X20 SE features a 64MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The phone holds a 4,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. On the software side of things, you get Android 11 with Magic UI 4.1 on top.
The handset comes in Titanium Silver, Cherry Gold, Emerald Blue, and Night Black. These names could be a bit off since we translated them using Bing. The handset is currently up for pre-order in China and will start shipping on July 9. The Honor X20 SE with 6GB of RAM is pegged at CNY 1,799 (roughly $280), while the 8GB RAM variant will set you back CNY 1,999 ($310).
