It looks like phablets are coming back in a small way this year, thanks to companies like Xiaomi and now, Honor. The latter has just announced its latest handset, the Honor Note 10, offering up a large 6.95-inch display packed in a sleek body.
The Note 10 will offer a 6.95-inch 1080p AMOLED display with support for HDR10, Huawei"s Kirin 970 processor with GPU Turbo and CPU Turbo mode, and will be available with either 6GB or 8GB RAM. The 6GB RAM variant will come with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, while the 8GB RAM model will only be available with 128GB of internal storage. All of the previously mentioned models will have a microSD slot to expand its storage capabilities.
The smartphone will offer a dual camera setup on the rear that will consist of 24MP and 16MP sensors. The front-facing camera will be 13MP. Both cameras will offer a bag of tricks assisted by AI. When it comes to the battery, the unit will have a 5,000mAh, that will support the firm"s Super Charge feature. As far as software goes, EMUI 8.2 will run on top of Google"s Android 8.1 Oreo.
If you are located in China, you can start ordering the Note 10, with deliveries starting on August 1. The 6GB RAM model with 64GB of storage will sell for ¥2,799 which is around $410 USD, while the 6GB RAM model with 128GB of storage will cost ¥3,199, which is around $410 USD.
