Horace is free to claim this week on Epic Games Store

It was confirmed earlier this week that Epic Games Store will continue its weekly giveaways all the way through 2020. This week, the store is offering Horace to claim for free, taking the place of Sundered: Eldritch Edition.

Horace is a 2D pixel art platformer developed by Paul Helman and Sean Scapelhorn with over 15 hours of a 22-chapter singleplayer narrative, puzzles, and a few mini games as well. It puts you in the shoes of Horace, a robot with an assortment of abilities.

It was originally released in July 2019 and received praise from players and critics alike for its art style, humor, narrative, and gameplay. Here’s how the Epic Games Store describes the title:

"The best platformer of 2019." Horace is a huge platforming adventure which pushes the boundaries of the genre with a profound story of a small robot learning of life, the universe and Douglas Adams. Made by videogame lovers for videogame lovers!

Epic Games Store is offering Horace to players on Windows. Here are the minimum requirements:

OS: Windows 7
CPU: Intel i5
GPU: Any DX12 graphics card
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 12GB

If you wish to claim Horace, you can find it here. It will be free to claim until January 23, which is when Epic will put on offer The Bridge for its next giveaway.
