How to easily track Windows 10 build numbers

If you are a daily reader of Neowin, there is likely a good chance that you follow Windows 10 builds closely. And while Windows 10 build numbers generally don"t tell us much, they do help keep track of the steady progress that Microsoft is making towards the final release.

If you want to keep tabs on the latest build numbers, there is a new site that will allow you to do just that. Buildfeed.net was created by a man in the UK named Thomas Hounsell, and is keeping a running list of the latest builds. It"s also updated very frequently and in fact, was updated this morning to show that build 9860 has been compiled at Microsoft; for reference, the Windows 10 preview is build 9841.

While we wait for Microsoft to tell us more about the consumer preview that is expected to land in early 2015, these build numbers are likely the best look we will get internally at the progression of Windows 10.
