Today, HP announced two new Chromebooks. Starting with the Chromebook x360 14c, the firm is promising to deliver its most premium Chromebook to date, and it starts at only $499.
Seen in the image above, the Chromebook x360 14c has three-sided micro-edge bezels, giving it an 88% screen-to-body ratio. Of course, it"s a convertible, which means that it has USI pen support, tablet mode, and any other goodies that you expect from Chrome OS. It also enjoys premium performance, packing up to a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor from the Comet Lake family. You"ll also get up to 8GB RAM, and up to 128GB eMMC storage.
HP is promising up to 13.5 hours of battery life, and fast charging that will get you a 50% charge in 45 minutes. It comes in at 17.95mm thick and weighs in at 3.5 pounds.
At the entry level is the Chromebook 11a, and that"s exactly what it looks and sounds like. Coming in at a starting price of $219, it"s powered by dual-core Celeron processors, 4GB RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage. It has an 11.6-inch HD screen at 220-nit brightness, and weighs in at 2.99 pounds.
Both of these new Chromebooks are expected to be available this month from HP.com and Bestbuy.com.
