CES kicks off in just two days now, but many companies are already making major announcements. HP today announced a pair of flagship convertible laptops, a new Sprout Pro, and there"s also a new curved all-in-one PC and monitor.
The new ENVY Curve AIO 34 features a 34-inch "Technicolor Color Certified Ultra WQHD micro-edge display", and underneath it is a four-speaker sound bar by Bang & Olufsen. The display can also switch to a "low blue light mode", so you should be able to get a better night"s sleep if using it in the evening.
As with all of the PCs that the company announced today, it"s offered with Intel"s seventh-generation Kaby Lake chips, which will either be Core i5 or i7. Along with Nvidia GFX graphics, it comes in storage options up to 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD.
One thing that"s interesting is that the ENVY Curve AIO 34 comes with wireless charging support, so you could place your Qi-enabled device on top of it to charge it.
You"ll be able to buy the HP ENVY Curve AIO 34 from HP.com beginning on January 11, and it will be available from other retailers on February 26 starting at $1,729.99.
The OMEN X 35 is the latest curved monitor from the company, and it includes Nvidia"s G-Sync technology. According to the company, you "don’t need to worry about stutter and lag when paired with a NVIDIA compatible GPU", as the technology provides a "more natural, realistic, true-to-life gaming experience."
The OMEN X 35 will be available from HP.com and select retailers beginning in March, starting at $1,299.
