HP Spectre Folio unboxing and first impressions

HP"s Spectre Folio is certainly one of the more interesting PCs to be introduced this year. When the firm announced it, it promised to reinvent the PC. Indeed, it"s a form factor that we really haven"t seen before.

First of all, it comes in a leather body. And no, this isn"t a metal PC in a leather case; this is a leather PC. It comes in two colors: Cognac Brown and Bordeaux Burgundy. Clearly, HP invested heavily in style with this machine, with leather that"s meant to age well over time.

But it"s also a unique form factor. This isn"t just a tablet PC in a folio case. With regular folio cases, you"ll get one or two viewing angles, while the Spectre Folio is more versatile. You can use it as a regular laptop if you want, as the screen holds itself in place and the hinge props it up, but you can also fold the screen to different positions.

The HP Spectre Folio comes with another key feature, which is 4G LTE. That means that you"ll have connectivity wherever you go, without having to worry about the hassles or security of public Wi-Fi. Personally, it"s one of my favorite features in a PC.

Other specs include a Core i7-8500Y, which is a dual-core 5W CPU, 16GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Check out our unboxing video below:
