HP's EliteBook x360 1030 G2 notebook with Sure Start and Sure View now available

HP has released its latest notebook for businesses, the EliteBook x360 1030 G2, which was announced at CES. While it can be customized with a healthy set of specifications, its real benefits come from its unique security features. Like most top-end units with unique attributes, the EliteBook x360 won"t come cheap as the starting price is $2349.00.

So what do you get for a little over $2000?

The innards are packaged in a beautiful aluminum unibody frame that offers diamond cut accents. The durability of the device has been tested and is designed to pass twelve MIL-STD 810G tests. HP touts that the laptop will be able to last up roughly 16 hours on a single charge and offer excellent security with its Sure line of protections. HP Sure Start offers protections against BIOS attacks, while Sure View offers a privacy screen on the LCD. If all of the above interests you, the laptop is now available directly from HP.
