As we inch closer to the public rollout of Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), more and more individuals are getting their hands on the Mango builds for each of the devices on the market. Typically when this happens, leaks of builds tend to surface, and that is the case today.
The HTC 7 Mozart and Samsung Omnia 7 have both had Mango builds leaked. The Mozart leak is of build 7720.68, according to XDA and the Omnia 7 is a build from August and is reportedly just a minor update over previous iterations. Mobiletechworld states that it “may not be worth the effort (remember this is just an engineering firmware with the RTM OS code that we already have). The firmware version seems to be a tiny jump from the KC1 firmware (2424.11.3.1 vs 2424.11.8.2) and the Radio went from 2424.11.2.2 to 2424.11.7.2.”
A user on the XDA forums is stating that the Mozart leak is the final version of Mango. We can not confirm at this time if this file is indeed the final build of Mango to be released for public consumption.
It should be noted that using leaked firmware can potentially brick your hardware and/or void your warranty. If you do load the software, it is done at your own risk and comes with no official support channels.
