Although we are still a week away from HTC"s event in Taipei, it appears that the company isn"t going to leave its audience completely clueless when it comes to the release. Over the past week, HTC has been teasing the handset through its Twitter account, showing off glimpses of what"s to come. Now, it has released a new image, showing off the front of the upcoming smartphone.
While it only shows off one corner, we can see that the handset will look to offer a very slim bezel, at least on one end. This seems to confirm the design choice that was previously teased, where the fingerprint reader was moved to the back so that it could allow more of the front real estate to be used for the screen. So far this year, HTC has released a few handsets, with the U Ultra and U11 taking more of the center stage. It remains to be seen where this next handset will land, which could come in as either a mid-range offering or something more high-end.
Although a tease is nice, the full reveal will be even nicer. Luckily, we won"t have to wait long to find out the details in full sine the event is scheduled for November 2.
