HTC 'Hima' flagship to feature premium 'Ultra' version, Windows Phone editions

According to the latest rumors and leaks, HTC may launch four versions of its next flagship: a regular and “ultra” version, similar to the current Max line. Each of these is also supposed to launch in two flavors, one with Android and one with Windows Phone.

Next year’s rumored HTC Hima, the company’s new flagship, also dubbed the M9, has many people excited. Looking at the One’s positive reviews it’s no wonder that many folks are curious to see what HTC is planning next.

We’ve already seen some leaks that claim to list the upcoming flagship’s powerful internals, but according to leaker @upleaks there’s more to this story. According to his info HTC is planning a premium version of the Hima, dubbed the Hima Ultra. This is expected to be a bigger and more powerful version of the device.

What’s even more interesting, is that according to this same info HTC is also looking to get back into the Windows Phone game by launching a second flavor of the Hima handsets, one that uses Microsoft’s OS. This is exactly what the company did with the One recently so it’s great, if true, to see HTC try and satisfy its fans on both sides of the aisle.

Finally the leak also purports to show a new tablet coming from the company, supposedly based on the Nexus 9, which HTC recently developed for Google. The Taiwanese manufacturer is no stranger to the tablet game though the company did abandon its efforts in this field when its previous efforts went unrewarded by the market.

All this info, while exciting, is also unconfirmed so we suggest users wait and see what the company announces officially. Though if the recent leaks are correct we might hear a lot more in the near future.
