Following news earlier today that Mango has been released to carriers, the full specification of a new Mango device by HTC has been leaked.
The HTC Omega (which comes with Mango out of the box) is said to have a 1.5GHz single-core MSM 8255 processor along with 512MB RAM. The phone packs an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and HD video. Additionally, it flaunts a 3.8 inch S-LCD display (800x480) and 16GB of storage for your applications pictures, music and other media; however it lacks a microSD slot.
Along with that, you get the standard Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Li-Ion standard battery and Bluetooth v2.1. HTC hasn’t confirmed a release date or price and since the specs leaked.
It’s likely that the phone will be released in August/September time when the majority of Mango devices are expected to be revealed.
Windows Phone 7 OS "Mango" is expected to be available on new and retail devices in September. Mango brings over 500 new features to the platform, including IE9 with HTML5 support, mulititasking, OS-wide IM integration, Twitter + Facebook integration, and more. Its expected the first official Mango device to be available to consumers will be the Toshiba-Fujitsu IS12T which is set to be revealed later tonight in Japan.
