Following on from a report earlier this week that appeared to show us all we needed to know about HTC"s upcoming One A9, Evan Blass, better known as @evleaks, has now tweeted the A9"s main specs, and they show a typical mid-range offering rather than a 4GB, ten core monster that had been speculated until now.

HTC One A9 (Hima Aero): SD617, 5" FHD AMOLED, 2GB/16GB, 13MP/4UP OIS BSI, 2150mAh, microSD, fingerprint, metal, ~7mm, 6 colors. November.

The HTC One A9 will actually feature a mid-range Snapdragon 617 octa-core configuration of Cortex A53s, reaching up to 1.5GHz, with 2GB of memory and 16GB of expandable storage under the hood. Other specs include a 13MP main camera with OIS, a 4MP front-facing camera, a 5” 1080p AMOLED display, 2150mAh battery, and fingerprint sensor are also said to be on board.

In addition, the tweet states that the body will be metal and just 7mm thick, with six colors to choose from in November, when it will be made available. Blass did not follow up with a preloaded OS, leaving the possibility open for both Android and Windows 10 Mobile, which will have already launched for consumers by then.
