A new render of the rear of the rumoured premium HTC One M8 Prime has highlighted a more protrusive, outward-facing camera than on the current HTC One M8. Surrounded by an orange ring, the enlarged lense points towards improved camera hardware than that found on the One M8"s dual-4MP unit.
Revealed by famed tipster evleaks, the new camera again points to a more premium-orientated device than the current M8 although the bright, orange ring could detract from the expected aluminium and silicon metal body. Perhaps coloured lense surrounds will be an optional extra to allow users to add a slight hint of personalization to their device to help set it apart from the crowd, even more than its unique aluminium-silicon body allows.
Although the handset has yet to be formally announced by HTC, it is expected to have a 5.5-inch, 2560x1440 display with a quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM.
It will feature Sense 6.0 on top of what is likely to be Android 4.5 out of the box, and could be ready for release to coincide with this launch in the near future.
