HTC unveiled two of its latest smartphones, the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2 at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona. HTC Touch Diamond2 is targeted towards broad consumer audience looking for the professional benefits of a smartphone without sacrificing size, looks or functionality, while the HTC Touch Pro2 is targeted towards business consumers.
The new phones simplify information access with
- HTC"s Push-Internet technology to pre-deliver favorite web pages to phone, so that users don"t have to wait for the sites to download
- Single-view contact integration - All the dialogues and data related to a contact will appear in one screen, including contact history related to a person"s calls, emails, sms
Both HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2 come with

HTC Touch Diamond2 will be available in Europe and Asia early in Q2, 2009, with North America to be included later in 2009 whereas HTC Touch Pro2 will be available globally beginning early in the summer. Eventhough they dont come with Windows Mobile 6.5 yet, they are Windows Mobile 6.5 ready. Windows Mobile 6.5 will be available in the second half of 2009 and both the HTC Windows Phones come with a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5
