Earlier today HTC announced two brand new Windows Phone 8 devices, the Windows Phone 8X and the Windows Phone 8S. HTC has now uploaded a video to YouTube showing the design behind both devices. HTC explains why they chose to design these devices the way they did and why it is important to bring hardware and software together.
Both devices come in a variety of colours with the 8S devices being two-tone. The 8S features a 4.0-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1 GHz chipset, 512 MB RAM, 4GB storage, a 1700 mAh battery, integrated Beats Audio, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and removable SD card. The higher end 8X features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor 1.5 GHz chipset which is dual-core, a 4.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass 2, an 8-megapixel rear camera, an 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, Beats Audio, 16 GB of storage, 1,800mAh battery and NFC.
