Huami's new fitness wearable features an AMOLED display and costs around $116 USD

Huami has been offering up a steady stream of fitness wearables over the past couple of years and although it hasn"t had a break out product yet, it does manage to offer good products at a fair price. The firm has now debuted a new wearable overseas, with its newly revealed Verge.

The Verge follows in the footsteps of the previously released Stratos and manages to retain a more traditional watch design with its circular display. While previously it made use of always-on transflective color touchscreen LCD displays in its products, it looks like Huami has changed it up for this release, making use of a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels.

The watch will be powered by a dual-core processor, 4GB RAM, and will have 4GB of internal storage. As far as construction goes, the body of the watch will be made from plastic and will make use of removable silicon bands. The unit will have an IP68 rating, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optical heart rate sensor, and support for 11 different sports tracking modes.

The Verge will be available starting today in China and will be priced at ¥799 or around $116 USD. There is no word of a global release but if the past is any indication, we should see this arrive to other regions in the coming months.
